The 48th Session (July 3 - 11, 2008) General Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church

Having successfully completed its work, the 48th Quadrennial Session (2008) of the General Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church (A.M.E. Church) adjourned and thousands of AME's returned to their respective local churches to continue spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature.

Among the highlights was the reelection of Dr. Dennis C. Dickerson as the Historiographer/Executive Director, Department of Research and Scholarship.
